Close After Effects
Drag the TextShapes.jsx file into Applications > Adobe After Effects [version number] > Scripts > ScriptUI Panels
Start After Effects again
Open the script via Window > TextShapes.jsx at the bottom of the list.
You can now dock the panel into your workspace layout.
